Happy Holidays!

Well this was supposed to go up yesterday, but since I’ve been locked out of my WordPress account until recently, I haven’t been able to post anything or upload which is why Blogmas didn’t go exactly as planned.

I just cannot believe Christmas is over. The best day in the whole year, and we have 364 days to go. Although Christmas is said and done, I hope you all had an amazing Christmas Day surrounded by the people you love. Just because Christmas is over doesn’t mean the holidays are! I’ll still be watching Christmas movies and listening to Christmas music until 2015 has arrived. For 2015, I have quite a good plan for my blog. I have set up calendars to keep me and my blog organized. I hope you all have an absolutely great holiday season.

Things to do on a Winters Day/Night

I think this is one of my favourite posts I’ve written for Blogmas so far. For today’s post, I’ve written a list of things to do on a winters day or night. Where I live (Canada) there is a lot of snow on the ground now, so these ideas would be perfect for snow days.

#1. Stay inside all day and watch Christmas movies
I would absolutely love to do this before Christmas arrives. I just love Christmas movies so much! I would suggest grabbing your favourite blanket to cozy up to for optimal enjoyment. Some of my favourite movies I would recommend are Home Alone, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, Elf, and It’s a Wonderful LIfe.

#2. Read a book
I know this sounds really basic, but I absolutely love staying in during a snow day and just cozying up and reading a book. I find it so relaxing.

#3. Drink hot chocolate
Like I’ve said in one of my previous Blogmas posts, I love drinking hot chocolate during this time of the year. It just makes me so warm and cozy. I’ve stumbled on some really good hot chocolate recipes this year, including this master list (found here) that provides so many good hot chocolate ideas.

#4. Decorate a Christmas tree
Again, one of my favourite things to do. I feel like this is one of my absolute favourite activities to do leading up to Christmas and it makes me so happy.

#5. See a musical/play
Where I live, our theatre puts on a Christmas play production every year and I’ve gone every year for the past few years. It’s such an enjoyable experience and I always look back at these with such fond memories.

#6. Build a snowman
This is such a typical thing to say, but it honestly is one of my favourite things to do. I enjoy it so much, and I’ve done it every year growing up.

#7. Burn your favourite Christmas candle
Again, one of favourite things to do. I absolutely love burning candles, and I think the Christmas scents are by far the best. My favourite scents are all from Bath and Body Works: Winter Candy Apple, Winter, Tis the Season, and Fresh Balsam.

So those are my favourite things to do on a winters day! I hope you enjoyed this post today, as I really enjoyed writing it.

My Christmas Wishlist

For some reason, this WordPress deleted my post that was scheduled for today, hence why Blogmas Day 7 is up one day late. Anyways, for this post, I’m talking about my Christmas Wishlist. I don’t have that many things on my wish list this year, surprisingly.

Christmas Wishlist

#1. Taylor Swift 1989 Album
I haven’t heard all of her songs on this album, but I absolutely love the ones I’ve heard so far. Taylor has done so well this year and I believe that because of the amount of success she’s had these past few months she’s become a role model for a lot of young people.

#2. Too Faced Everything Nice Set
Oh my, I want this so badly. I missed out on last year’s Too Faced Christmas set, which I was quite disappointed. I’m really happy that they brought the kit back again this Christmas. This is such a good deal for the amount and variation of product you get in this set.

#3. Hair Straighteners
Ever since getting my hair cut short, I have been straightening it much more than I was previously, and since I myself don’t have a straightener, I have to borrow one. It’s not a huge issue, but I’d really just like to have one of my own.

#4. lol ur not harry styles tee
I cannot explain to you how much I love this shirt. It’s perfection. Even if I don’t receive it for Christmas, I’m sure I’ll buy it anyways. 🙂

#5. The Fault In Our Stars Movie
Although I have seen this quite a few times, I still do not currently own the movie. This is such a great adaption of one of my favourite books and Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort are the perfect actors for the roles of Hazel Grace and Augustus.

#6. Canon RC-6 Remote Control
Although this seems like an odd thing to put on a Christmas wish list, I feel like this would be such a good item to receive. I’ve used my camera fine without a remote for a year and a half, but there has been so many times when I’ve used my camera and needed a remote and end up trying to use the timer mode. Having this around would make taking photos so much easier.

#7. Glam Glow Gift Sexy Set
This would be such a good gift to receive for Christmas. I have been wanting to try a Glam Glow face mask for quite a while, and this would be a great chance to try not one, but three. Although it’s a little pricey, it actually turns out to be quite a deal when you add up the cost of each mask.

So that’s my Christmas wishlist this year. I don’t expect to receive everything on it, but I’ll be thankful for anything I receive.

What is one your Christmas wish list this year?

Best Christmas Songs

For today’s post, I’m talking about my favourite Christmas songs. Although I’ve already done my Movie favourites, Blogmas wouldn’t be complete without telling you all my favourite songs. After all, Christmas music is one of the best parts of this time of the year.

Christmas Music

– Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) – Darlene Love
– The Christmas Can Can – Straight No Chaser

Christmas on Pinterest

Christmas Pinterest

Today’s post is going to be a short but sweet post pretty much self promoting my Pinterest. I have really fallen in love with Pinterest recently, and I find myself using it so much. I restarted all of my boards so there will not be a lot of pins on each board, but nevertheless I’m enjoying Pinterest all of the same.
