February Favourites

Since it is the 28th day of Bloguary, and the end of it, I have to do the monthly favourites!

1. NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base

Yes, this is still a favourite. I have the same things to say, as last time, so if you want to check the mini review, you can do so here.

2. Covergirl Single Eyeshadow in Tapestry Taupe

I first heard about this from amarixe, and I recently decided to try it out. I heard it was a good drugstore dupe for MAC’s Satin Taupe. What I noticed is that if you don’t have a base for your eyeshadow, it’s not as pigmented, but when you do, it sure looks good!

3. Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Tease

This has to be the most beautiful matte taupe color EVER! Oh my god, this looks AH-MAY-ZING in the crease! I will have a review coming up. If you did not want to buy either of the NAKED palettes, I would definitely buy this as a single.

4. Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Busted

This is a darker brownish purple colour, but not quite taupe. This really adds definition to your eyes if you put it on your outer corner!

5. Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad To the Bronze

This is the perfect base for eyeshadows, or you can wear it own its own, and it looks great!

Bad to The Bronze

For my everyday look I use Bad To the Bronze as base, Tease as an all over lid color, Tapestry Taupe in the crease, and Busted in the outer corner.

6. Maybelline Eyestudio Gel Liner in Brown

Since black is a little intense for me, I decided to use brown. This is a really nice consistency. I don’t particularly like the brush that comes with it, so I used my own.

7. MAC 217 Blending Brush

I mean it’s a brush, so it’s sorta hard to review. But it spreads out the perfect amount of colour in the crease.

8. Chanel Glossimer in 169 Jalousie

My favourite part of this gloss is that it is completely opaque. Saying that, the colour is a bit overwhelming, so you have to use hardly any of this to get a nice and “polished” look. A little goes a long way in this case. The only thing I don’t like is the price. Luckily I had a gift card!

9. Nivea Vanilla & Macadamia Kiss Lip Butter

This keeps my lips so intensely hydrated. It smells delicious. I put this on right before I go to bed, and my lips are still moisturized in the morning.

10. Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation

This is my new favourite foundation. It is a light foundation, which looks more natural than the Revlon Colorstay. I apply this with my beautyblender like sponge (coming up), and looks perfect. I wear the shade 110 Ivory and this color matches me perfectly!

11. Revlon Nearly Naked Powder

I wear the shade 000 Light. This is the most finely milled setting powder I’ve ever tried. This looks completely natural, and same with the foundation, you don’t even notice it’s on your face.

12. elf Blush in Fuchsia Fusion

This is the brightest color I own for blush, and the most glittery. I wanted to try this out, to see if the color flattered my skin tone, and it does! The tip is to use a light hand. You can’t go wrong for $3!

13. Milani Baked Brush in Luminoso

I bought this at Target for $6.99, after hearing about it from MissGlamorazzi. This is a shimmery peach colour, which looks orange in the swatch. It looks really natural, with a flush to your face! I would recommend this for light to medium skin.

14. NARS Laguna Bronzer

So I finally caved, and bought it to see if it was worth the hype. IT WAS! It is an ALMOST completely matte bronzer, with a hint of shimmer. This looks like I’m a bronze goddess! 😉

15. Foundation Sponge

My mother bought this for me at either TJMaxx or Ross, for $4.99. She knew I wanted the beautyblender but I didn’t buy it. So how you use this is all you do is soak it in water, squeeze the excess water out so it will be damp, you will notice that it will also expand a fair bit, and then you use it to apply your foundation. I still think I want the beautyblender only because it deposits product easier, because it’s less dense which makes it more squishy!

16. Deborah Lippmann Mermaid’s Dream

I don’t have to go into this, since I already have a post about it! Check it out here!

17. Mario Badescu Rose Water Spray

I picked this up at Ulta for $7! This is my first facial spray I tried, and I am quite impressed. I put this on right before I go to bed, and I wake up with a nice refreshed face!

18. B&BW Sleep Lavender & Vanilla Pillow Spray

So. Darn. Good. The three words I describe this with. It smells heavenly!!!!! I don’t know if it has improved my actually sleeping, I just like the smell of it.

19. Mossimo Supply Co. Lace Shorts

I wear these so much, my little cousin started noticing! I can’t help it! They’re adorable. I love lace! They are also super feminine. And comfy! It’s the best of ALL worlds! 🙂

So I hope you enjoyed today’s post! In the comments, tell me what you’ve been loving!
